PORSCHE EUROPEAN OPEN
SIMPLY THE BEST. From our point of view, this was the best Porsche European Open EVER! 4 days of top golf, great partners & exhibitors, a sensationally prepared Porsche North Course, wonderful cars, a brilliant Village with lots of entertainment and treats, the Ferris wheel…, simply UNIQUE and with a lot of PASSION!!!

Congratulations to Tom McKibbin (Northern Ireland), who is only 20 years old. He won the 40th Porsche European Open with 283 strokes (-9) ahead of the two Germans Marcel Siem and Max Kieffer and the Frenchman Julien Guerrier.

IT ALL STARTED WITH A VISION…

In 1997 at the age of 26, Michael Blesch (PGA golf instructor) and Ralf Lühmann founded Green Eagle Golf Courses, just outside the Hanseatic City of Hamburg – a fresh, young, dynamic golf club concept. Everyone is unconditionally welcome and can get to know and experience the world of golf!

Today, the golf course covers 186 hectares and is designed to provide a golf experience suitable for all handicaps. The three courses make this possible in every respect: the public 6-hole par 3 course, the 18-hole South Course for all levels of play and the 18-hole Porsche North Course – the venue for the PORSCHE EUROPEAN OPEN. With the largest driving range in northern Germany, the diverse practice areas and the Titleist Fitting Centre, the training possibilities are unlimited.

But it is not only the unique design and the exceptionally high quality of maintenance of the three courses, which Michael Blesch built himself with his longstanding team of greenkeepers, that makes Green Eagle Golf Courses a talking point. New standards are also being set in terms of clubhouse atmosphere and ambience.

Convince yourself and enjoy a delicious lunch, a coffee with homemade cake or a cozy dinner in our club’s restaurant with its spacious lakeside terrace. Or chill out at our “beach” at the pond of the 18th green of the South Course – the ideal place to relax in a lounger after your round or end the day with a leisurely after-work drink!
